Following the success of episode 24 Nate Schneider of AV Shop Talk put the career spotlight on Feltech’s Key Account Director Nevil Bounds for episode 25.

Nate Scheider says “With over 37 years of experience Nevil is a great example of perseverance, adaptation and keeping up with changing technologies. He landed his first gig in 1978 as a sound dubbing assistant for the Muppet Show working the 1/4″ tape machine. Today Nevil is Key Account Director for Feltech which was founded in 1989 by Peter Fell. Nate Schneider has worked in the AV industry since 2005 when he began mixing live sound for Durgin Technical Services as a student on the campus of UMass Lowell. After graduating in 2007 with a bachelors degree in Sound Recording Technology he transitioned into the world of commercial integration building racks and pulling cable for HB Communications. With a strong background in AutoCAD and a general love for any equipment that came with rack ears filling the role of drafting technician came naturally. Currently Nate is an AV system designer with Image Stream Medical specializing in the design of integrated operating rooms and video conferencing systems.
Nate can also be found producing How-To videos for the BigNate84 YouTube channel. This first venture into social media, personal branding and content creation in 2011 has lead to over 2.8 Million video views, 5.5 Million minutes watched, 7k subscribers not to mention a boatload of practical experience as a YouTube producer. In August of 2014 Commercial Integrator selected Nate as one of the rising stars within the industry, naming him to the 40 Under 40 top influencers list.
